1. Who operates this application
Zen AI News Publisher is operated by an individual developer, who is also the owner of the Zen AI News account. Contact: shankerdevinane@gmail.com.
2. What the application accesses
The application uses OAuth to obtain authorisation from the account owner. Through that authorisation it accesses:
- Basic account identity, only to confirm it is connected to the correct authorised account before uploading.
- Permission to upload a video to that account.
- The publishing status of content it has uploaded, so the same video is not uploaded twice.
The application does not read other people's profiles, followers, comments, direct messages, watch history or any other account's content.
3. What the application processes
- Video files it has itself produced.
- Captions, titles, descriptions and publishing metadata for those videos.
- Publication status and the returned content identifier for each upload.
- Its own operational logs, recording which episode was uploaded and when.
4. What the application does not do
- It does not sell platform user data. It does not sell, rent, licence or trade any data obtained through a platform API.
- It does not share data obtained through a platform API with advertisers, data brokers or any third party.
- It does not build advertising profiles or track individuals.
- It does not collect data about viewers or other users of the platform.
- It does not store any account password. Authorisation is by OAuth only.
5. Storage and security
OAuth tokens are stored in the operating-system user credential store on the operator's own machine. They are not committed to source control, not embedded in application code or workflow files, and not exposed publicly. Network access to the local publishing component is restricted to the loopback interface and requires a separate shared token. Video files and logs are held locally on the operator's machine.
6. Retention
Access and refresh tokens are retained only while the integration is in use and are revoked by the account owner at any time through the platform's own settings. Uploaded videos are then governed by the platform's terms and by the account owner. Local operational logs are retained for troubleshooting and may be deleted at any time.
7. Third parties
Video and audio production uses third-party services to generate narration and to transcribe the application's own output for quality checking. Only content the application itself produced is sent to those services. No data obtained from a social platform API is sent to them.
8. Your rights
The account owner may revoke this application's access at any time in the platform's app or privacy settings. On revocation the application can no longer upload or query status. To request deletion of stored tokens or logs, contact the address in section 1.
9. Changes
If this application's data handling changes materially, this page will be updated and the date at the top revised.
